INFORMATION FOR WINERIES
Please join us for the 2019 Oregon Tempranillo Celebration to be held at the Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites in Ashland, Oregon, on January 18-20, 2019. This will be the 4th year for this amazing event that celebrates Oregon Tempranillo. The event is open only to OLCC-licensed wineries that produce tempranillo wine in Oregon.
The Celebration will kick off with a Welcome Reception on Friday, January 18th. The main event on Saturday will feature five tempranillo-focused seminars. The Saturday event includes both lunch and dinner, where you’ll have an opportunity to share your impressions from the seminars, and a bottle of your wine. On Sunday, there will be a Consumer/Trade Tasting where attendees will have the opportunity to sample all the best tempranillo from around the state. Wineries also have the option to submit up to three tempranillo wines for a confidential critical evaluation by our panel of experts.
If you need accommodations for the 2019 Oregon Tempranillo Celebration, a block of rooms has been held at the Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites (same location as the event). The rooms are available at a discounted rate of $79/night for a Standard Guestroom (one king bed) and $89/night for a Premium Guestroom (premium king bed or two queen beds). INFORMATION FOR CONSUMERS
On Sunday, January 20th, there will be a Grand Tasting from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm where attendees will have the opportunity to sample all the best ternpranillo from around the state. There will also be an array of delectable tapas as well as a Silent Auction, where you can bid on some fabulous items. Wineries wishing to participate in the 2019 Oregon Tempranillo Celebration must submit their Winery Participation Form no later than December 31, 2018. This is also the due date for submitting wines for critical evaluation by our panel of exerts.
